Please note that on Activ8 monthly membership options, a joining fee and pro rata fee may apply when you first sign up unless there are any valid promotions to waive these fees. Please note that if you choose a Direct Debit membership with a fixed contract term, you will be required to make payments for the full duration of the agreement as stated in your contract. Once your initial contract period has ended, your membership will automatically continue on a rolling monthly basis, with payments collected each month until you choose to cancel in line with the membership terms and conditions.
The joining fee is a one off administration fee that applies to Direct Debit memberships. This payment is made at the start of your membership.
The pro-rata payment covers your membership usage from the day you join until your first Direct Debit payment is collected. This amount is calculated based on the number of days between your joining date and your first payment date.
Direct Debit payments are collected on either the 1st or 15th of each month. To allow you to start using your membership straight away, we calculate a pro-rata amount to cover the period from your start date until your first scheduled payment.
Example: If you join on the 4th of the month your direct debit payment will be due on the 15th, you will pay for 11 days of membership upfront. Your regular monthly Direct Debit payments will then begin on the 15th.
